Dr. Christopher A. Gencheff has specialized in the medical treatment and surgical correction of hair loss since 1981.
During this time, he has personally performed over 15,000 procedures and transplanted millions of grafts. He is one
of the most experienced hair restoration surgeons in the Midwest and among the top nationwide. Dr. Gencheff is
unique in that he devotes his practice exclusively to surgical hair restoration where other surgeons may
perform the occasional hair transplant surgery in conjunction with their other specialty.

In addition to his extensive surgical practice, Dr. Gencheff was one of the 27 initial surgeons in North America to be Board Certified in all modalities of hair transplantation by the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery. Dr. Gencheff was involved with Merck Pharmaceuticals in the clinical trial studies of Propecia®. He has co-authored "Effects of Finasteride on Dihydrotestosterone Content of Scalp Skin in Men with Male Pattern Baldness" and "Finasteride in the Treatment of Men with Androgenetic Alopecia." He also lectures on all aspects of hair loss and solutions.

and MHTC have earned a strong national and international following. This reputation has been gained as a

Dr. Gencheff maintains medical licenses for the states of Wisconsin, Illinois. Over the
past 19 years, he has been active in meetings and seminars for various medical organizations such as:
